How to Create a Google Review QR Code from the Correct Review Link

A review QR should lead to the right business and an honest review opportunity. Generating the pattern is straightforward; choosing the correct link and request is the part to verify first.

Quick answer

Copy your business's review-request link from Google Business Profile, then either use Google's own QR or generate PNG/SVG from that link in BarcoBatch. Open the downloaded QR's destination and confirm the business. Ask for genuine feedback without rewards, pressure or filtering out negative experiences.

Get the link from Google Business Profile

Google's current help directs profile managers to Read reviews → Get more reviews, where they can copy the review link. Google also supplies its own downloadable QR there; its documented QR-generation workflow currently uses a computer browser. If that native image already meets your needs, there is no requirement to generate another one.

When you want a browser-local PNG/SVG export in the BarcoBatch workflow, copy the supplied review link. Do not substitute a search-results page, a competitor's listing or a dashboard URL only the profile manager can open. Interface wording can change; use Google's linked help if the controls differ.

Generate the image, then verify the actual destination

The tool checks supported Google URL structure; it does not fetch the link, confirm ownership or establish that a particular listing is correct. Google customers may need to sign in to a Google Account. A valid-looking Maps link is not automatically the review-request link you wanted.

For an original counter-card example, use the visible caption: “How was your visit? Share your experience on Google.” Place the business name beside the code so a customer can compare it with the destination. A caption is packaging artwork, not a field that this generator adds to the QR.

  1. Paste the complete Google-supplied https:// review link into the URL field.
  2. Generate and download PNG or SVG.
  3. Decode the downloaded file with the QR Scanner to check that its stored URL matches the link you intended.
  4. Open that URL as a prospective customer and confirm the correct business and review flow.

Ask neutrally and leave the decision with the customer

Do not offer discounts or gifts for reviews, selectively send satisfied customers to Google, discourage negative feedback, require an on-site rating, or specify the words a reviewer must include. A QR is a route to feedback, not permission to manipulate it. A neutral request respects the customer's choice of whether and what to write.

Printing a code cannot guarantee review counts, ratings or rankings. Its useful job is to make the correct destination easier to reach.

Check the final card before distributing copies

Print one example, preserve its clear border and scan it under the lighting in which customers will use it. Confirm the business again after any profile/link change. The static image keeps its embedded URL; if you choose another URL, regenerate and replace it. BarcoBatch does not maintain a redirect, collect scan counts or validate the review destination in the background.
