Invite an honest review of the correct business

A Google review QR code should make an existing review destination easier to reach. It cannot choose a rating, submit feedback or guarantee publication. Start with the review link supplied for the intended Business Profile. If a shop operates several branches, check the branch identity especially carefully: a perfectly readable picture can still send customers to the wrong place.

Get the review destination from your profile

Open the Google Business Profile you manage and use its review-request or get-more-reviews option to obtain a shareable link. Google also provides its own QR option in that workflow. This page is useful when you want the supplied link in your existing PNG or SVG artwork process. Paste the copied public review URL into the form. The generator does not search Google, claim profiles or derive a verified business identity from a shop name.

Try the destination as a customer would

Open the resulting link with a personal customer account rather than relying only on the profile owner’s signed-in management view. Confirm the displayed business name, branch and review entry point. Google requires customers to sign in to a Google Account to leave a review; scanning cannot bypass that requirement. A map listing, search-results link and review-writing link may lead to different experiences, so inspect where the exact supplied address lands.

Place a neutral request at a natural handoff

A small counter card, receipt footer or optional table sign can invite customers to share their experience when convenient. Explain the destination clearly and leave participation voluntary. Do not pressure someone to write feedback while standing at the checkout. Keep the symbol legible on the actual receipt stock; faint thermal printing and a sharply folded footer can make the route difficult to use even when the source image is valid.

Keep the request within Google’s review rules

Google prohibits incentives such as discounts, gifts or payment in exchange for reviews. It also prohibits selectively soliciting positive feedback or discouraging negative reviews. Avoid a five-star reward, an employee review quota or a script telling customers what to write. Ask for an honest account of a real experience. A common operational error is reusing one branch’s artwork at every location, so label internal print files with the correct branch before distributing them.

Common questions

Can the code promise five-star feedback?
No. Customers decide what to write and how to rate their experience, while Google controls review handling. The image is only a route to the supplied destination and cannot produce an approved rating.
May I offer a discount for an honest review?
Google’s prohibition covers incentives for posting any review, even when you call it honest. Keep the request voluntary and separate from discounts, gifts or rewards tied to submitting or changing feedback.
Do I need a different picture for each branch?
Use the correct review link for each branch. If destinations differ, the corresponding static symbols differ too. Check the business name after scanning a sample from each print batch.
Does scanning publish a review immediately?
No. The customer opens the destination, signs in if required, and chooses whether to submit feedback. This generator receives no review text and does not report who scanned or what they rated.
