EAN-13 input requirement
EAN-13 input must contain exactly 13 digits. BarcodeBatch checks the structural length and characters, then encodes the value as supplied. It does not automatically complete a 12-digit input or rewrite the final digit.
Generating a barcode is not number registration
BarcodeBatch creates the barcode image only. It does not assign GTINs, register products, verify ownership or confirm that a number is valid for a retailer or trading partner. Use identifiers supplied by the appropriate business or standards process for your use case.
