EAN-13 carries a thirteen-digit GTIN, including its check digit. It is a familiar choice for consumer packs scanned at a shop checkout, rather than a container for a product name, price or website.
Use the identifier assigned to the exact product variant: a different size or pack quantity can require a different GTIN under the applicable allocation rules. This generator draws an image; it does not register products or check who owns a number. A mathematically valid check digit is only one consistency check. A number beginning with 868 or 869 relates to allocation through GS1 Türkiye, not proof that the product was manufactured in Türkiye.
First, put the complete thirteen digits in Value; the format is already fixed to EAN-13 here. Second, select Create barcode and compare the printed digits in Preview with your approved product record. Third, use Download SVG for a design layout or Download PNG for a suitable image workflow. A rejected entry should be checked against the original record, not made to pass by adding a zero or guessing a replacement check digit.
GS1’s nominal EAN-13 diagram uses a 0.330 mm module and a total footprint of 37.29 × 25.93 mm, including quiet zones and readable digits; the bars themselves are 22.85 mm high. Retail guidance describes 80–200% magnification, subject to the application. These are standards references, not a claim that this preview exports at a particular physical size. Place the artwork proportionally in your label layout and reserve the full blank margins.
Avoid stretching only the width, cutting down the bar height or putting a border inside the quiet zone. Black bars on white are a useful starting point. Gloss, a curved bottle and a wrapping seam can defeat an otherwise correct image. At 203 or 300 dpi, small modules must map sensibly to printer dots; changing a DPI label alone adds no detail. Test the final label on the intended pack, with the production printer and scanner.
EAN-13 input must contain exactly 13 digits. BarcoBatch checks the structural length and characters, then encodes the value as supplied. It does not automatically complete a 12-digit input or rewrite the final digit.
BarcoBatch creates the barcode image only. It does not assign GTINs, register products, verify ownership or confirm that a number is valid for a retailer or trading partner. Use identifiers supplied by the appropriate business or standards process for your use case.

If your assigned product value has 13 digits, copy all of them, including the final check digit. A 12-digit UPC-A belongs in the UPC-A tool; adding a digit to satisfy this field is not identifier assignment. Compare the decoded value with the source before using the image on packaging.
